Background

In 2024, social selling emerged as the latest trend in lead generation. However, many businesses find it challenging to effectively engage potential customers across multiple platforms, resulting in missed opportunities. To address this challenge, companies are turning to AI-powered platforms that streamline the social selling process.

Challenge

A key challenge in developing Leadguru was ensuring effective monitoring of online communities. Mitrix engineers needed to design and refine an algorithm to accurately identify relevant messages while also verifying information about their authors. To address this, the team developed a feature that locates user profiles on LinkedIn. Another essential addition was an internal CRM system for tracking lead communication, including a follow-up and reminder system to ensure timely and organized outreach.

Solution

The application’s active development started in 2020, initially used by the company to find clients interested in software development outsourcing. The functionality of Leadguru has been continuously enhanced and improved. In 2021, the CEO Dmitry Blyschyk decided to evolve Leadguru into a commercial product. Mitrix invited other companies to test the application and contribute to its development through product research.

The Mitrix sales team uses Leadguru to streamline client acquisition. The app monitors online communities in Slack and identifies messages indicating interest in hiring developers. Its algorithm detects and displays these leads, enabling us to target potential clients and offer software development services.
